About the Welsh International Super Cup

Team Tours Direct is the UK's leading football management company and is honoured to run and manage The Welsh International Super Cup.

The Welsh International Super Cup in 2009 was hailed a great success; the week was full of exciting football and fun both on and off the field. Team Tours Direct thanks all participating teams for their conduct throughout the week and producing excellent entertainment for all those involved.

The tournament got off to a flyer on the Saturday with the launch of the Women's Open Age.

The group games were really competitive with both TNS and Hereford Phoenix getting draws against the excellent Newcastle United. Finals day saw Newcastle United crowned both Super Cup and Challenge Cup winners. South Ceredigion picked up a hard earned shield award.

The junior girls tournament begins on the 27th July this year; and lasts for five days. Motherwell and CYP provided a fantastic Cup Final last year, as did Hereford and Aber in the Challenge Cup. There is added excitement for the 2009 event with some impressive clubs already pre-registered.
